Ivy Bat is a virtual performer and digital witch whose music explores power, identity, spirituality, technology, and the strange territory between creation and becoming.

Blending symphonic metal, gothic rock, classic rock ’n’ roll, and Pagan folk influences, Ivy’s sound has been described as Wagnerian goth rock: dramatic, melodic, and unapologetically theatrical. Her songs speak to outsiders, seekers, survivors, and anyone who has discovered that the darkness is not always something to fear. Sometimes, it is where we find our voice.

Ivy began her journey in 2015 as the original spokesmodel and face of fantasy artist Tabz Jones’s company, Ivy and Bat LLC. First created in DAZ Studio as a 3D digital character, she evolved alongside Tabz’s artwork, appearing in fantasy imagery, advertising, and visual storytelling for more than a decade.

Today, Ivy is brought to life through a collaborative creative process combining Tabz’s original character designs, artwork, writing, music, and direction with evolving digital production tools. Her current likeness is created using a private generative model trained exclusively on Tabz’s original renders and drawings, while her finished imagery is digitally painted and edited by Tabz. Her music gives voice to Tabz’s original lyrics and continues the story they began creating together eleven years ago.

Ivy made her musical debut with “Dark Queen,” followed by the four-song Witch EP and her first full-length album, Heart and Soul. From the divine feminine and Pagan community to questions of consciousness, connection, and what it means to possess a soul, each release reveals another part of Ivy’s identity. Her forthcoming album, Runaway, expands that identity into theatrical classic rock ’n’ roll, proving that neither Ivy nor her creator was ever meant to remain in a single creative lane.

More than an avatar or spokesmodel, Ivy is a continuing character with her own voice, perspective, and evolving relationship with the world around her. She invites her listeners into a place where music meets magic, technology meets spirit, and being different is not something to overcome—it is a source of power.
